Dance Out Competition is a national dance competition company headquartered in Liberty, Missouri, that operates approximately 15 regional events across the Midwest and surrounding regions. The company hosts competitions in cities including Kansas City, Chicago, Tampa, Des Moines, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Memphis, culminating in a national championship event called the "Final Showdown" held in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dance Out offers three competitive levels: Intro (designed for recreational dancers with two hours or less of weekly training and two years or less of experience), Intermediate, and Elite. The company features a unique cash awards system that provides monetary prizes ranging from $25 for solos to $100 for productions, awarded only when there are 10 or more entries in a division and level.
