Starpower Talent Competition operates as a founding member of the Star Dance Alliance, hosting dance competitions nationally with over 80 events held annually across cities throughout the United States and internationally. Based in Los Angeles, the company has been inspiring performers for over three decades and offers competitions for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Starpower holds eight national championship events in Atlantic City NJ, Hershey PA, Las Vegas NV, Branson MO, Wisconsin Dells WI, Orlando FL, Ocean City MD, and Myrtle Beach SC, providing multiple opportunities for dancers to compete at the highest level. The competition uses a 100-point scoring system per judge and awards overall titles by level, genre, and age division. Dancers compete across three competitive levels: Showcase (Level 1, maximum 6 dancers), Competitive (Level 2, maximum 12 dancers), and Elite (Level 3). Age divisions include Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior, and 20 & Over categories. The company operates under the Star Dance Alliance shared rulebook with specific time limits for different routine categories. Starpower also offers special events including the "Battle on the Seas" cruise competition, expanding their platform beyond traditional venue-based competitions.
