2027 Dance Nationals — Every Event We’re Tracking

By Andy Lyons, founder of DanceFinder, cataloguing dance competitions, conventions, and summer intensives across the US and Canada.

Published May 27, 2026Updated October 13, 2026

Where every brand ends its 2026-27 season. We’re tracking 186 Nationals events across 99 brands and 85 cities for the 2026-27 season finale. The list grows weekly as competition companies finalize their summer 2027 championship schedules.

2027 Nationals schedules are being released on a rolling basis throughout 2026. We update this page as competition companies publish new championship dates — DanceFinder expects dozens more Nationals events to be added over the coming months. Alongside the weekly refresh, we run periodic deep dives to locate host hotels, venues, and additional event details once brands release them.

16 of 186 events on this page are flagged INFERRED. The competition company hasn’t yet explicitly announced this is their 2027 Nationals. When a brand hasn’t formally published its championship date, DanceFinder uses pattern matching across the brand’s full 2026-27 tour calendar (June/July timing + regional footprint) to identify the most likely Nationals event. We refresh this page weekly; badges flip to confirmed as brands publish. Always verify directly with the competition before registering.

Frequently asked questions

When are the 2027 Dance Nationals?: Most 2027 Dance Nationals are scheduled for June through August 2027 — the traditional summer championship window. We're currently tracking 186 confirmed Nationals events across 85 cities. New ones are added every week as competition companies finalize their season.
Which brands run multiple Nationals?: 46 brands run two or more Nationals events on the 2026-27 calendar — including Platinum National Dance Competition, Starpower Talent, Kids Artistic Revue (KAR). This is common for the largest regional tours, which split their championship week across multiple destination cities.
What does the INFERRED badge mean?: 16 of 186 events on this page are flagged INFERRED. The competition company hasn't yet explicitly announced this is their 2027 Nationals. When a brand hasn't formally published its championship date, DanceFinder uses pattern matching across the brand's full 2026-27 tour calendar (June/July timing plus regional footprint) to identify the most likely Nationals event. We refresh this page weekly; badges flip to confirmed as brands publish. Always verify directly with the competition before registering.
How do I qualify for Dance Nationals?: Qualification varies by brand. Most regional competitions auto-qualify dancers who hit a top-score threshold (e.g. Platinum, Diamond, High Gold) at any regional stop. Some brands publish a separate qualification rulebook — see the brand's tour page for specifics.
