The company was created by founders with over 40 combined years of experience in the dance industry, and has grown to become recognized throughout the competition circuit for its friendly staff and encouraging atmosphere. Stage One accommodates dancers across five age divisions (Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior, and Adult) and welcomes approximately 20 different dance styles, including unique categories such as Jazz Character, Tap Character, and Photogenic. The company utilizes a distinctive three-tiered competition structure with Rising Star, Shooting Star, and Elite Star levels, each featuring different scoring thresholds and award categories.
