Energy National Dance Competitions

Energy National Dance Competitions · 2026-27 Season Schedule

Energy National Dance Competitions operates as a national dance competition company that emphasizes organization, professionalism, and a family-friendly competitive atmosphere. The company offers competitions across multiple cities nationwide, featuring four competition divisions (Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, and Dynamic) designed to provide fair competition opportunities for dancers of varying skill levels. EnerGyNDC hosts a National Finals event where first-place winners in all age and category combinations receive cash awards, and the company also offers national scholarships as gift certificates to Finals. The competition utilizes a comprehensive scoring system with three-judge panels, awarding up to 300 total points based on technique (40 points), performance (35 points), musicality/timing (10 points), choreography (10 points), and overall appearance (5 points). Award levels vary by division, with platinum, high gold, gold, and high silver recognitions available. When selecting judges, Energy National staffs current industry professionals with backgrounds in Broadway, film, television, and classical ballet companies, chosen both for their expertise and ability to provide constructive critiques. The company accommodates dancers across six age divisions from Mini through Adult, with specific time limits for different routine categories ranging from 2:45 for solos to 8:00 for productions.
