Diamond Dance Awards is a family-run regional dance competition founded in 2017 that serves the New England area with events held in three Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations: Concord, NH, Sturbridge, MA, and Woburn, MA. The company focuses on providing a competitive yet family-friendly environment for dancers of all skill levels and styles, welcoming competitors across age divisions from Mini through Adult. Diamond Dance Awards emphasizes building confidence and creating positive memories while maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere that fosters a family-like community among participants. The competition utilizes a distinctive diamond-themed scoring system with seven award tiers ranging from Silver (240.5 points) to the top Diamond award (295.5-300 points), with intermediate levels including High Silver, Gold, High Gold, Platinum, and High Platinum. A panel of three judges evaluates performances based on four specific criteria: Clarity (Technical Ability), Carat (Choreography & Musicality), Brilliance (Performance & Personality), and Symmetry (Degree of Difficulty).
