Dance the Magic is a unique performance company founded in 2001 that offers dancers the extraordinary opportunity to perform in parades at Disney theme parks rather than traditional scored dance competitions. The company operates approximately 9 events per season across multiple prestigious venues, including Disneyland Resort's Main Street USA parades, Walt Disney World, and expanded locations such as Aulani in Hawaii, Broadway venues, Nashville, and Universal Orlando. As a Disney Youth Programs PremEAR Partner, Dance the Magic has been recognized as a Top Producer of Guest Talent at Disneyland Resort and recipient of the Disney Partners Award for exceptional service. The company welcomes dancers from around the world across three skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Studio groups require a minimum of 10 dancers with participants aged 7 and older, while individual and small group performers must be at least 10 years old. The experience extends beyond parade performances to include dance camps with Disney Teaching Artists, dress rehearsals, professional photo shoots, and additional activities. Dance the Magic maintains Disney's high standards for live entertainment, focusing on polished, fabulous performances that give talented studio dancers the chance to showcase their skills in front of thousands of Disney Park guests in beautiful costumes.
