Dance Canada Inc. Dance Competition · 2026-27 Season Schedule

Dance Canada Inc. operates as both a dance competition and convention company, hosting approximately 16 events per season across Canada. The company travels to multiple cities including Thunder Bay, Brantford, Niagara Falls, Gatineau, Kitchener, Winnipeg, and London, offering a comprehensive competition circuit that culminates in Solo Finals held annually in Brantford. Dance Canada features a unique competitive structure with three skill levels (Novice, Pre-Competitive, and Professional) and accommodates 14 different dance styles, including distinctive ballet subcategories such as Demi-Character and Demi-Pointe. The company's competition format uses a single-age system for solo entries rather than traditional age bracketing, and offers specialized divisions including an Extended Line category for dancers aged 17 and older, separate from their standard Line division for ages 10-16. Dance Canada provides complimentary livestreaming of their events and maintains different time limits for routines based on competitive level. In addition to competitions, the company offers convention experiences with master classes, expanding their educational offerings beyond the competitive circuit. The organization crowns title winners across multiple age divisions, including Mini, Junior, Teen, and Senior categories for both male and female dancers.
