About Beast Dance Competition
Beast Dance Competition operates as a regional dance competition serving New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Created by the founders of The Royal Dance Competition, Beast launched as a new competition experience in 2025 with the tagline "A Whole New Vibe." The company offers multiple regional events throughout its tri-state territory and culminates with National Finals held in Hershey Park, Pennsylvania. The competition features two skill levels—Intermediate and Competitive—across six age divisions: Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior, and Adult. Beast uses a composite scoring system with five award tiers: Extreme Platinum, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Every solo, duo, trio, and group entry receives a trophy, while each individual dancer receives a ribbon or pin. The company awards Beast Titles to winners in each level and age group combination (Petite through Senior), along with special judges' discretionary awards. Notable features include the signature Beast Award, which provides cash prizes of $100 for solo/duo winners and $200 for group winners in both 12 & Under and 13 & Over divisions. Beast Dance Competition is officially affiliated with The Royal Dance Competition, leveraging established industry experience while offering dancers a fresh competitive environment in the Northeast region.
