Aspire Dance Pro is a regional dance competition company based in South Jordan, Utah, that serves dancers throughout Utah and Idaho. The company operates multiple competitions each season across various cities in both states, culminating in a Nationals event held in Utah. Aspire welcomes dancers of all ages and skill levels, offering divisions from Mini through Elite and Pro levels, and accepts a wide range of dance genres including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, clogging, acro, and cheer. The competition uses a comprehensive judging system with three-judge panels who evaluate performances on technique, artistic/choreography, execution, and showmanship/appearance, with each category worth 25 points per judge for a total possible score of 300 points. Awards are presented using a gemstone system (Rose Diamond, Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) based on score ranges that vary by skill level. Dancers receive both audio and written feedback from judges who are noted for their ballet training and technical expertise. Additionally, Aspire enhances the competition experience by offering free master classes at every event, providing educational opportunities alongside the competitive aspects of their programs.
