Top 5 team placements are awarded in each category; top soloists are recognized per grade level with the top 10 advancing to a solo showdown. Special awards include the X-Factor Award (highest-scoring routine), Team Xcellence (sportsmanship), Judges' Choreography Award, and Technical Xcellence Award, plus Grand Champion tiers (2nd runner up, 1st runner up, and Grand Champion).
Judging criteria:
Judges assess each performance using a 100-point scoring system outlined on a style-specific score sheet; the cumulative total of the 3 judges' scores determines a team's overall score.
