About DX Events - Dance Xtreme USA
DX Events - Dance Xtreme USA operates as both a dance competition and convention company, serving dancers primarily across the Midwest region since its founding in 1987. Headquartered in Anoka, Minnesota, the company hosts approximately nine competition events per season and positions itself as "the gold standard in dance competitions, conventions and tours." Their competitions feature three competitive levels with single-stage formats and entry caps to maintain quality standards. The company culminates its season with a nationals event held in Brainerd, Minnesota, which requires no pre-qualification for participation. Beyond competitions, DX Events offers a comprehensive dance experience including two yearly conventions and specialized programs such as the All-American Talent & Scholastic Program and an Elegant Awards Gala. The company also provides performance tour opportunities that alternate between Disney World and New York City destinations. Additional features include improv contests, livestream capabilities for remote viewing, and community involvement through their Peyton's Promise charity program supporting adoption assistance. With their tagline "More than a competition. An Xperience," DX Events emphasizes creating a well-rounded dance experience that extends beyond traditional competitive formats to include educational and performance opportunities for participating dancers.
