Adrenaline Dance operates as both a dance convention and competition company, hosting approximately 13 regional events per season across North America since 2003. The company travels to cities throughout the United States and Canada, offering what they describe as a "convention-first model" where workshop attendance is required for competition entry. Their tour culminates in a nationals event called National Dance Honors (NDH). The company organizes competitions across six age divisions: Sparks, Mini, Junior, Teen, Senior, and Adult. Studios are limited to 75 total routines with a maximum of 30 solos, and individual dancers may enter only one solo per event. Their awards system includes the Heartstopper award, which provides $300 toward the next season for the highest-scoring group in both 12&Under and 13&Over divisions. The first-place overall group receives 50% off entry to National Dance Honors. Additional special awards include Judge's Pick, Versatility Award, Sportsmanship Award, and Wildcard Showcase recognition. Each regional event concludes with "The Best of Show," featuring performances by the Spark's Crew, Parent's Crew, City Crew, Wildcard Showcase participants, and scholarship recipients.
