Dancin Dayz is a family-run dance competition company that has been serving the dance community since 2001. The company operates as a regional competition, hosting one annual event in Rancho Mirage, California at The Westin Mission Hills Resort. With over two decades of experience in the industry, Dancin Dayz offers dancers comprehensive age divisions ranging from 3-4 years old through adult categories up to 25+, ensuring appropriate competitive environments for performers across all stages of their dance journey. The competition features three skill levels—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—with a numeric scoring system that awards placements based on specific score ranges within each division. Judges evaluate performances across six key criteria: Choreography, Execution of Choreography, Stage Presence & Showmanship, Balance/Focus/Timing, Movement/Lines/Arms/Legs, and Costuming. The event accommodates various performance formats including solos, duets, trios, and groups with time limits up to three minutes, as well as production numbers extending up to twelve minutes. Modern conveniences include livestreaming capabilities through the Dakiki Dance Comp Genie App, allowing families and supporters to view performances remotely.
