Canadian Dance Series is a regional dance competition circuit traveling across Canada — Ontario, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Alberta, and Newfoundland and Labrador. The series follows the same rules at every event and emphasizes celebrating every dancer regardless of level. Performance divisions split into Novice, Pre-Competitive, Competitive, High School, College/University, and Pro, so dancers at every experience level have meaningful awards to compete for.

Three judges each score routines out of 100 points, and those scores are averaged to produce a final percentage that determines each dancer's award tier. Tiers reflect how close a performance comes to a perfect score, rewarding strong technique and artistry at every level.
