About the Program
Weber State University's Dance Program is part of the School of Performing Arts (which is home to Dance, Music, and Theatre) in Ogden, Utah. The program offers a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, a Dance minor, and an associate (AA) option, with studies designed around performance and educational training that allow students to explore choreography, dance education, administration, and new technologies in the performance field. Coursework
Faculty teach technique, composition, pedagogy, and folk/ethnic forms; faculty have performed and choreographed in ethnic, ballroom, musical theatre, tap, jazz, and ballet. A Dance Education (BA) track exists in the catalog but is no longer accepting new students.
