About the Program
The Ventura College Dance Department offers a variety of classes designed for both aspiring professional dancers continuing to the university level and knowledgeable amateurs eager to understand and appreciate the role of dance in society. The department is committed to preparing students for transfer to 4-year university dance programs and providing the foundation and skills to enter the dance profession. Instruction spans all levels from beginning to advanced, complemented by public performance concerts each semester.
