About the Program

The BFA in Dance at Troy University is a competitive, comprehensive program in which students train intensively in the styles of Ballet and Contemporary. It prepares graduates for a professional performance career and also offers extensive training in choreography, pedagogy, and artistic direction. Following first-year faculty evaluations, students are either invited to continue in the BFA or to seek a different major while completing the minor in dance.
