About the Program
As a dance major at Pitzer College, you cultivate not just the finesse of technique in modern dance and ballet but also your creative voice, diving deep into composition and repertory. Students are also exposed to non-western dance forms, embarking on a journey to appreciate global cultures and their performance traditions. The Theatre and Dance program is offered in partnership with Pomona College and serves students across the Claremont Colleges. The department presents at least four major productions and a dance concert each year in the Seaver Theatre Complex.
