About the Program
The Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment provides degrees across the spectrum of dance disciplines, including dance performance, dance management, teaching, and entertainment business. Coursework
Curriculum emphasizes American dance forms — tap, jazz, ballet, and theater dance for musical theatre. First two years cover foundation in dance technique, arts management and production, teaching methodologies. Later years specialize by track.
Facilities
Housed in the Edith Kinney Gaylord Center (completed 2007). The three-story facility includes 8 dance studios, permanent barres outside studios for stretching, locker rooms, and faculty offices.
Performance Opportunities
Annual Holiday Spectacular (signature production). MOVE! performance company. Student Choreography showcases. Summer Intensive programs.

Scholarships & Financial Aid
Automatic merit-based academic scholarships are available to students based on GPA. OCU also awards performance scholarships based on audition results.
