About the Program
Oberlin College's Dance Department integrates academic learning with personal experience, leading students to become creative problem solvers. The curriculum focuses on creation and performance, critical inquiry, physical techniques, and somatic studies. Rigorous dance training is integrated with a broad liberal arts curriculum, with additional coursework in arts management, design, and production. Oberlin is a private liberal arts college with an affiliated Conservatory of Music.
