About the Program
Long Beach City College's Dance program prepares students for careers in performance, teaching, dance studio operation, and body/physical therapy. The AA in Dance covers dance technique, choreography, and aesthetics, with training in ballet, modern, and Pilates/body conditioning. LBCC's state-of-the-art dance studio is housed in the renovated J building. Many graduates continue to Master of Fine Arts programs at UC Irvine, CSUF, CSULB, USC, UCLA, and UCSF.
