About the Program
The Dance Program cultivates informed and engaged dance practitioners through intercultural experiences that foster intellectual curiosity, embodied knowledge, and a creative mindset. Goucher offers a Bachelor of Arts (44-46 credits) and a minor in Dance. Students explore genres including ballet, pointe, modern, and Africanist techniques, and may pursue interests in performance, choreography, or integrate dance with fields such as dance therapy, dance science, arts management, or dance education.
