About the Program
The Ailey/Fordham BFA in Dance is a four-year joint program offering professional dance training at The Ailey School alongside a rigorous liberal arts and sciences curriculum at Fordham University. The program offers a comprehensive study of several dance techniques — Horton, Graham, ballet, jazz, and West African — preparing graduates for a variety of careers in the concert dance world, on Broadway, and in commercial dance. Students access state-of-the-art dance studios at the Joan Weill Center for Dance, the Ailey Citigroup Theater, on-site physical therapy, wellness workshops, and Fordham's Lincoln Center campus resources.
