About the Program
The CSU Dance Program in the Department of Theatre and Dance offers a B.A. in Dance with two tracks — Dance in Community or Creative Process & Performance — plus a dance minor. Per its mission, "The CSU Dance Program is committed to presenting dance for participation and viewing; it strives to make accessible varied curriculum, performances, workshops, and master classes to the CSU student and the general public." Styles taught include modern, ballet, jazz, tap, choreography, composition, musical theater dance, bodywork, and social dance. No audition is required to declare the major or minor.

Spring and Fall dance concerts featuring the CSU Dance Company, guest artists, and GroundWorks DanceTheater (professional company in residence); performances at the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square (per OhioDance).
