About the Program
Cerritos College Dance offers an Associate of Arts (AA) in Dance alongside three Career Technical Education (CTE) certificates: Dance Foundations, Commercial Dance, and Dance Teaching. Coursework spans introduction to dance, modern, ballet, commercial, world dance, dance appreciation, dance history, composition, technology, partnering, and performance. The department was selected for the National American College Dance Festival in 2008 and 2010, performing at the Kennedy Center.
