About the Program
Brigham Young University Provo's Department of Dance offers a rare and distinctive dance portfolio — a BA in Dance, a BA in Dance Education with Secondary Teacher Certification, a BFA in Dance, and a unique BFA in Music Dance Theatre (interdisciplinary). BYU also operates a Youth Dance Program alongside the degree programs. As a Latter-day Saint-affiliated private university, BYU brings a religious mission to dance training that is unusual in NASD-accredited institutions. NASD-accredited since 1989.
